Genre: Trash Metal
Three words to describe Machinage: Heavy, Speed and Melody
The band was formed in 2007 in Jundiai/SP, Brazil, by Fabio Delibo (guitar and vocals). He brought in Ricardo Mingote (Drums) and Adriano Bauer (Bass) to form a lineup that could stand up to any metal band anywhere. The release of "It Makes Us Hate" in 2011 showed that indeed the band was ready for the big time obtaining really possitive reviews from their record such as:
“I dare say that this is the best Thrash Metal release that I have had the pleasure of hearing in a very long time. Absolutely fantastic!” Mary Orren-Spunelli – Metal-Temple.com
“If you like old-school thrash with a beefed-up modern production that has real passion, anger, and tasteful displays of skill that serves only to accent the raw intensity of the music being played, this is something you need to check out.” Matti Frost – stereokiller.com
“Brazil's Machinage (along with countrymen Violator) have expanded the scene with their crystal clear yet aggressive version of Megadeth-styled thrash. Their debut full-length, It Makes Us Hate has landed them with a full US tour and a new legion of well-deserved fans.” Adam Kohrman – metalcrypt.com
Machinage shared stage with acts such as Sepultura, Overkill, Nuclear Assault, Angra, Sodom, Tim “Ripper” Owens, among others. A year after the release of their debut album, in 2012 they embarked on their first US Tour playing in more than 40 cities around the US for more than 10,000 people. In 2013 Machinage decided to record their upcoming album called “Slave Nation” in Smiley Sounds Studio in Ohio, recorded by it’s owner, the former guitar player of Annihilator and Nevermore, Curran Murphy. American fans knew about this, so they wanted to see Machinage live again, so they decided to do a shorter US tour covering 20 shows in 20 different cities with a total of 7,500 attendees.
After the recordings of “Slave Nation” were done, the material was sent to the renowned producer and engineer Max Norman, who was nominated several times with his work with Megadeth including albums such as “Rust In Peace”, “Countdown To Extintion” and “Youthanasia”, and also worked with artists such as Ozzy Osbourne’s “Blizzard Of Oz”, “Diary Of A Madman”, “Bark At The Moon”, Y&T, Savatage, Loudness, Death Angel, Fates Warning and Annihilator just to mention a few.
